We are so EXCITED to be gearing up for the 2026 Texas Junior Braunvieh State Show, "Under the Big Top"! This parade of champions is going to be great. We are working to create a fun family event where we get to show off the cows we love and highlight your hard work and dedication on the big stage. Here are a few tips and reminders for show prep and getting entries submitted.
- state show entries DUE on showman app March 20 (https://showman.app/shows#/2026-texas-junior-braunvieh-association-state-show-m4cc)
- animal registration/transfers with BAA due by March 20 (DigitalBeef: BAA :: Information Management for the Braunvieh Breed)
- ALL animals except calves at side MUST have DNA on file with BAA (DNA_Sample_Form.pdf)
- exhibitors/participants MUST be a paid member of TBA by time of check-in (Join Here)
- ALL exhibitors/participants WILL write thank you's at check-in
- exhibitors should bring their own bedding, pellet bedding is NOT allowed
- each contestant is required to have a minimum $100 sponsorship by check-in, if you are unable to find a sponsor, you can pay this on the showman app during registration or at check-in
- meals will be offered but require a meal pass you can purchase during registration
- OUT OF STATE EXHIBITORS: Certificate of Veterinary Inspection current, within 30 (thirty) days of April 16, 2026.
- ALL Heifers over 20 months must have a pregnancy status.
- ALL Bulls over 14 months must have a semen check.

Go to the Home2Suites website, www.home2suites.com/paris, choose your dates (04/16-04/19) and there should be a box labeled special rates. Click on that and in the box labeled group code put in TJB. If you have any questions, you can call the front desk, 430-900-1337 option 1 and let them know you need to book in the room block for Texas Junior Braunvieh. The block expires on 03/21/26.
