2026 Scholarship Program Update
TBAJ Scholarships are awarded to current TBA members on the basis of scholastic excellence in high school and/or college, demonstrated TBA or associated affiliate leadership, interest in the cattle industry, and youth leadership activities. The Texas Braunvieh Association Junior Scholarship Fund requires applicants to be an active paid junior member of the Texas Braunvieh Association for a minimum of 2 out of the last 3 years prior to applying. Applicants must be a senior in High School or freshman (1 st Full-tim e year) in College. In addition, applicants must have participated in at least one speaking event at 1 out of the last 2 State Show’s and achieved at minimum $300 in the sponsorship drive for the 2025 TBA State Show. Sponsorship includes: calendar sales from (Oct. 2024–Jan. 2025) as well as sponsorship monies raised for the Texas Junior State Show held in April, 2025.
